With the Summit coming up, I'm trying to reach out to community leadership and get a feel for where everyone stands as far as the health initiative myself and Dr Niko Kostopoulous are trying to helm. While we're hoping this to be a multi-part undertaking that can eventually offer more, we'd like to start off with at least some basic health screenings Quad-wise. Know you have a number of younger members among your residents, so they may also be able to benefit from the pediatric psych team we're trying to put together; someone to talk to and all of that, you know.
I could honestly ramble about this for quite some time, so instead will turn to you and ask your thoughts, if that's alright?
Thanks again for coming to class the other day, by the way.
We take care of each other. Here. I don't know that anyone needs a psych team. Therapy and health screenings. That's a lot. What would you expect in return? [...] Don't say nothing. It's never nothing.
Thanks for the class. Hadn't had a refresher in a bit.
not trying to force anything on anyone, just letting you know the types of resources that could be made available to the Container Fort, should you want.
if you really want to figure out some sort of trade of skills or work, surely we could work something out? but honestly, we're not looking for anything in exchange. simply want to make sure no one is sitting on any ticking time bombs or chronic conditions that could be treated.
We don’t like to owe anyone anything. A work exchange sounds like a good idea.
They wouldn’t be required in any way? The check ups. For other summit benefits or anything? I’d like to leave it to each person to decide for themselves. I don’t make choices for anyone.
let us know if you ever want to pick up anything more. not even trying to recruit for responders, but it doesn't hurt to have as many people trained as possible.
I can't speak to what precisely needs to be done around Prescott, but I'm certain the powers that be could come up with a list or so.
correct. it's currently tied to nothing, and if I have it my way? won't be used to strong-arm anyone into this, that, or the other. we really are just wanting to help and look out for everyone's best interests here.
I think this is something that is being brought up at the Summit, which is to say I don't have a definitive answer for you there, apologies. I do know that there are people being trained in other communities that are taking said information back simply to help their own, so it's not unheard of.

[...] Suspiciously altruistic of you. As always.

I'm a glutton for punishment, what can I say?

You won, today. We'll let you come over. For check-ups. Can't promise anyone will want them but [...] we won't stand in the way.
